Watching Ida – gaining strength, Gulf Coast wary

Tropical Storm Ida has a few folks worried that it may turn into a Gulf of Mexico Hurricane once passing the Yucatan peninsula. Right now it is fairly disorganized. If it does turn into a hurricane, it will likely become the next poster child for the nonexistent global warming to hurricane frequency connection.
