A statement issued Tuesday by the Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency alleged that Levon Tebelekian, 72, charged immigrants $150 for medical clearance papers without actually performing exams, the Los Angeles Times reported.
The federal government requires the exams to ensure immigrants aren’t bringing in any diseases.
